Welaba!

Early morning game drive into the charming Lake Mburo National Park to see zebra, impala, buffalo, warthog and perhaps giraffe – to name but a few. Visit the waterholes and drive down by the lake to see the many hippos chuckling in the lake shallows. Join up with a ranger for a guided nature walk in the savanna of Lake Mburo. Walk with the giraffes and other wildlife and meet some of Uganda’s more than 1000 species of birds.

Depart the park through the many herds of Ankole cattle with their infeasibly large horns, heading for Masaka for lunch.

Return journey to Entebbe. We don’t include a lodge for the final night because there are normally too many variables, such as drop off at Kampala, Jinja or even Entebbe Airport for a late flight home. Either way, we are happy to make recommendations and to drop you off at your chosen end point.
