Meanda UGANDA
At Meanda Uganda, our mission is simple. To give you the best experience of Uganda – your way.
By day, we show you the magic of Uganda – on and off the beaten track. Often going where others don’t.
By night, we like to camp – we do it in style in some fantastic locations. But we also like to mix it up with some great lodge nights. We call it overland – giving you the best of both worlds. And if you want to take it all up a notch – check out our Moto Tours.

Lodge Tours
Prefer the conventional? We base you in hand-picked, mid-range lodges and tour by day in specially adapted, pop-up roof safari vehicles, absorbing the magic of Uganda. Trust us with a camp night or two? – you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Camping Tours
Enjoy the freedom of camping in Uganda out of our special support vehicles. Spectacular locations, great food and home comforts. African stars, a campfire and noises off! Overland style – mixing camping and lodge nights for the best of both worlds.

Moto Tours
Why not try Uganda on two wheels? We partner with adventure moto tours to deliver a unique, overland riding experience. Ride by day; banter by night. A beer and a campfire. Fun, freedom and camaraderie.
Why Us?
Meanda Uganda is an independent, adventure tour company based in Entebbe, Uganda. We are owned and operated by Nick, a retired British architect and adventurer, and his wife Patrah, a Ugandan entrepreneur. Established in 2021, we are proud to be a young company with a fresh approach.
We love what we do and we think you will too!
Why Uganda?
Because Uganda has it all. Mountain gorillas and the “Big Five”. Aardvarks, zebras and everything in between. The highest concentration of bird species on the planet. The Nile, the Great Lakes, the Rift Valley and the Mountains of the Moon. Seven of the highest peaks in Africa. The Equator, 10 National Parks and the best climate on earth. 56 tribes and 70 languages. From the bars of Kampala to the bomahs of the Karamajong. Colourful, welcoming, friendly.
Why else would they call us The Pearl of Africa?
Why Camping?
Well the weather here is fantastic and there is something very special about sitting out in the African night, under the stars with a campfire – especially if you know all the right places.
And there is also a phrase here: TIA. “This Is Africa”. Basically it means – things do not always go according to plan. So how about being independent, self-reliant…
…and if you are, then just imagine the freedom that gives you to explore and absorb The Pearl of Africa!
